Top Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers for Ultimate Style
One of my obsessions is Golden Goose Deluxe Brand. They were established in the year 2000 after bringing together the talents of Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. As time went on, they have evolved into a huge designer brand with flagship stores worldwide, and it’s one that fashion fans can’t resist.
I’ve followed Golden Goose for ages and I would often look through what FarFetch had, as they always had an curated selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always thought they were quite expensive and looked too similar to Converse, so they were always on my mental wishlist. Some time back, Adam was the one who originally loved the brand and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what inspired me to look into them more. After checking out his pair and realizing the uniqueness of each pair because they’re handmade in Italy, I was even more curious. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are deliberately worn-looking and made to seem broken-in, they are all hand done so they’re truly one-of-a-kind. Some have much more abrasions and dirt than others, so there’s a whole spectrum.
If you’re buying at a store, it might be a good idea to ask to see a few of the same shoe and pick from them, but if you’re ordering online, you have to roll the dice!The pair of sneakers that I liked from the beginning are the ones above in the main image, as they’ve been on the market forever, but I never ended up purchasing them.
I actually ended up getting the silver pair from Shopbop, and they’re a pair I have used occasionally (see here and my Golden Goose review here). I absolutely love them! I bought another pair in the same model and customized them with new laces + colored accents, so they’re really fresh! I golden sneakers men’s also own a pair of plush burgundy style, and two pairs of high tops! I do definitely want a black pair now, but I have a pair of Converse in black canvas, so I’m not sure I should repeat the color, even though they’re different.
